This is my second Work In Progress, in fact the second, but the first was not so good. Here are the steps one by one how to add magnets to this beautiful Elf. First Step: Like I did not like the huge squares it has on her, I decided to fill those holes with epoxy. |
|
Second step:: After made the holes for the joints, (had to use 2mm lines for the figure, is too big for 0.5mm wire) Added magnes, D=5mm big enough to hold the heavy pieces |
Third step:: Like some parts are very thin, I had to add epoxy to glue the magnets, added 2mm magnets too |
Fourth step:: Magnets and epoxy are attached fits perfectly
Fifth step:: Big problem both parts are far away, one from the other,
even with som extra epoxy
Sixth step:: Added more epoxy, with, magnets 2mm, until both pieces fit |
|
Seventh step:: There were some holes after sanding the eposy, so mixed baby powder with superglue, after sand many time and add this mixing, several times too, the sking ended very soft and without any pinhole
Final:: No pinholes, no marks, it ended very soft |
